THREE people have been arrested and a car seized following an alleged theft and assault on a member of staff at the Go Outdoors store in Warrington.

Response patrols attended Go Outdoors on Wilson Patten Street in the Town Centre following a report of an alleged Theft and an Assault on staff yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon.

Officers quickly blocked in their car before they could ‘exit stage left’ and made three arrests in relation to these allegations. The said car has also been seized.
As there were allegations on thefts from other Go Outdooors sites, enquiries are ongoing.

Police posted a warning on social media stating: “If you are coming into our town in order to commit offences like this, a day like this is waiting for you.”
