Road closure for up to three days for new gas connection

THERE will be a road closure of up to three days on Hillcliffe Road at Stockton Heath a week on Monday (April 8) to allow the installation of a new gas connection.

The works are due to start on Monday, April 8th on Hillcliffe Road from its junction with Walton New Road to its junction with Brookwood Close.

Warrington Borough Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Hill Cliffe Road from its junction with Walton New Road to its junction with Brookwood Close.
The Order will be effective from 8th April 2024 for 3 days, as and when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Hill Cliffe Road, Whitefield Road, Walton New Road and vice versa. The closure is required to allow Cadent to install a new gas connection.
