Man charged following Padgate burglary

OFFICERS from Warrington Proactive Team have charged a 20-year-old man in connection with a burglary at Padgate.

Barclay Redford was arrested on Monday 25 March following a burglary at an address on Station Road North, which occurred on Thursday 21 March.
Redford of Banks Crescent, Warrington, has since been charged with burglary, two counts of theft of a motor vehicle, two counts of fraud, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, dangerous driving, driving without insur-ance, and failing to stop.

The driving offences relate to an incident which occurred on Tuesday 19 March on Padgate Lane, Warrington.
He was also charged with three counts of shoplifting.
Redford appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 26 March where he pleaded guilty to all charges and was remanded in custody. He is set to be sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday 23 April.
