Police appeal for information following reports of loud bang gunshot noise at Sankey Valley Park

POLICE are appealing for information following reports of a gunshot being heard which resulted in a large police presence at Sankey Valley Park on Tuesday afternoon.

The police helicopter and arfmed officers attended at the scene shortly after 3pm yesterday.

A Cheshire Police spokespoerson said: “At 3.10pm yesterday, Tuesday, officers were called to an incident at Sankey Valley Park.
“The caller reported hearing a loud bang at the location.
“Officers attended the scene along with the National Police Air Service and conducted a thorough search of the area, but no one was located.
“There have been no reports of any injuries at this time and enquiries remain ongoing.

  1. What did the police find in the trees ? Police and scenes of crime where there for hours . All in white suits . Seen bringing evidence bags out .
