A fund-raising curry night organised for Warrington Rotary Club by member Ashok Malaiya is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
Ashok from Appleton, a member of Warrington Rotary Club, has, for the last 24 years organised a club Curry Night to raise funds for local and international charities.
The events have grown in size to now welcome over a 100 guests each year to taste authentic Indian cuisine and watch various cultural groups perform traditional Indian dancing.
The event is to be held on Saturday 9th March at Thelwall Parish Hall.
Ashok commented. “The Curry Night not only raises well needed funds for both local and international charities but allows Warrington Rotary to showcase its work within the community and further afield. A special anniversary year with an opportunity to welcome new friends and families to see the vision of Rotary as a long standing community service organisation.”
