UP to six weeks of road works have been scheduled at Latchford, starting tomorrow, Monday, February 26.
The closures from 7 pm- 1am are required for carriageway resurfacing and involve Whitley Avenue from its junction with Richmond Avenue to its junction with Reynolds Street; Richmond Avenue from its junction with Garnett Avenue to its junction with Tilston Avenue.
Warrington Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway as follows: Whitley Avenue from its junction with Richmond Avenue to its junction with Reynolds Street; Richmond Avenue from its junction with Garnett Avenue to its junction with Tilston Avenue.
The Order will be effective from 26th February 2024 for 6 weeks, between 7 pm and 1 am, as and when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Richmond Avenue, Kingsway South, Reynolds Street and vice versa. The restrictions are required for carriageway resurfacing.
