WARRINGTON boxer Rhiannon Dixon was special guest at Warrington Town FC as she prepares for her World Title fight in Manchester on April 13.
The Great Sankey based boxer is already Commenwealth and European lightweight champion and fighting for the vacant WBO lightweight title
Dixon was at Cantilever Park for Saturday’s National League North fixture against Brackley Town as a guest of the club as she prepares to “get ready to rumble” and was introduced to supporters before kick off by club director Richy Sutton.
The 28-year-old is preparing for her first tilt at a world title and will face Argentina’s Karen Elizabeth Carabajal at Manchester’s AO Arena on April 13.
At a recent home fixture against Chorley the Yellows also welcomed Warrington-based heavyweight boxer Boma Brown as their special guest.
