A man from Latchford, Warrington has denied a rape allegation when he appeared at court via video link.
Mariyan Grudev aged 38, pleaded not guilty to raping a woman in Warrington on December 22, 2019.
The defendant appeared at Liverpool Crown Court via video link from prison and was assisted by a Bulgarian interpreter.
Judge Brian Cummings, KC, further remanded Grudev, of Thelwall Lane, in custody to await his trial, expected to last four days, to begin on July 8.
