Fire crew called out to car fire at Appleton

FIREFIGHTERS were called out this morning to tackle a car fire at Appleton, Warrington.

At 07:15 one crew from Stockton Heath was called out to reports of a car on fire in Bernard Avenue, Appleton.

The fire involving a car was attended to and extinguished by firefighters using a hose reel.

They checked the vehicle with a thermal imaging camera for hot spots before leaving. There were no reports of any injuries.
