Double header to kick start amateur Rugby League season

THIS Saturday, February 24, sees the start of the 2024 amateur Rugby League season when The Stuart Middleton Foundation Warrington Cups will be competed for in a double header.

Taking place at the ASICS Victoria Park Arena, at 12.30 PM Latchford Albion will face Burtonwood Bridge in the Alliance final.

Burtonwood received a bye to the final, whilst Albion overcame a spirited Bank Quay in the semi-final 30-16 to secure their place.

Following the conclusion Crosfields and Woolston Rovers will meet in the Warrington Cup Final at 3.00 PM.

Entry is free with food and drink available throughout the day for what promises to be an exciting afternoon of local rugby league.
