THREE local people have been arrested after a warrant led by officers in Warrington resulted in a large quantity of heroin and cash being seized.
At around 11am on Tuesday 13 February, officers executed a warrant at an address on Alder Lane, Warrington.
Two men and one woman, all from the local area, were arrested suspicion of being concerned in the supply of heroin.
A number of items were seized following a search of the address – including approximately £20,000 in cash and a large quantity of heroin, with an estimated value of around £11,000.
A 49-year-old man is being held in police custody and is currently being questioned by officers.
A 22-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman have since been released on conditional bail.
The warrants were conducted as a result of information from the local community.
