Police seek drugs offender on the run from HMP Thorn Cross

POLICE have launched an appeal for information after a 43-year-old man absconded from HMP Thorn Cross on Saturday morning.

William Ferguson, who was serving a sentence for drugs offences was last seen at HMP Thorn Cross in Appleton just after 9am on 3 February.

William is white, around 6’2” tall, of large build with greying hair and brown eyes.
He has links to the Manchester and Salford areas.

Officers are currently carrying out a number of enquiries in a bid to trace William and they are urging anyone with information as to his whereabouts to get in touch.
