AFTER spending the last two weekends on the road, picking up 2-2 draws at Workington and Basford United, Warrington Rylands return home to the Hive Arena on Saturday when they host bottom of the table Bradford (Park Avenue) in a NPL Premier Division game, kick  off 3pm.

If they are to return to winning ways they will have to do it without their leading goalscorer Adama Sidibeh who made a transfer deadline day move to Scottish Premier Division side St Johnstone for an undisclosed fee.
After eleven seasons in the National League North Bradford were relegated into the NPL Premier last summer having finished 23rd in the table and life back in the NPL has not been easy having been in the bottom half of the table for most of the season and occupying bottom spot since New Year’s Day.

Despite taking a 2 goal lead at home to Lancaster City last Saturday, Bradford conceded 3 second half goals to record their 8th consecutive defeat going back to mid December when they won 4-3 at Macclesfield.
Not surprisingly with six defeats in their last six games Bradford (Park Avenue) are bottom of the NPL Premier Division’s form table while Rylands with a record of 1 wins, 4 draws and 1 defeat in their last 6 games are 14th in the form table.

Today’s two team’s league records this season are:
P          W         D          L          GF        GA       GD       PTS      POS
Rylands            27        13        11        3          44        28        16        50        3
Avenue            27        3          5          19        29        59        -30       14        21

With just 1 win and 4 draws from their14 away games so far this season Bradford  have the 4th worst record in the NPL Premier Division while Warrington Rylands with a Hive Arena record of 8 wins and 2 draws from their 13 home games have the 4th  best home record.
Warrington Rylands will be in action at the Hive Arena on Tuesday (6th February) when they host Tranmere Rovers in the Liverpool Senior Cup quarter finals, kick off 7.30pm with free admission available to under 16s football teams, sports clubs, schools and youth groups – contact [email protected] for more info
