Five men charged in connection with nine Warrington burglaries

UPDATED: DETECTIVES investigating a series of burglaries in Warrington have charged five men in connection with the incidents.

On Thursday 25 January, officers from Warrington Proactive Policing Team (PPT), supported by colleagues from Halton PPT, Macclesfield PPT and Greater Manchester Police, conducted a series of warrants across Greater Manchester.
Five men were arrested during the raids, and a number of other items were also seized.

Following questioning all five men have been charged with conspiracy to burgle, their details are –
• Harley Jones-Joyce, 18, of Hollyhedge Road, Manchester
• Niall Richie, 18, of Plowden Road, Manchester
• Conrad Strachan 20, of Hearle Drive, Manchester
• Harry Hosker, 28, of Glazebrook Lane, Rixton-with-Glazebrook
• Alex Higson, 28, of HMP Liverpool

The charges relate to nine burglaries which occurred in the Warrington East area between August and November 2023.
All five defendants appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court this morning where they were remanded in custody. They are next set to appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday 23 February.
