Death of missing woman not suspicious as 51-year-old man released without charge

UPDATED: DETECTIVES have today confirmed the death of a missing woman, after a body was found at a property in Bewsey, Warrington, is not suspicious.

A 51-year-old man, who was arrested in relation to the incident on suspicion of murder, has since been released without charge.
The death has been referred to HM Coroner.

It followed police receiving reports of a missing woman at 10:10pm on Tuesday, with officers later discovering a body at an address on Folly Lane, earlier yesterday, believed to be that of the missing woman.

A crime scene was put in place while an investigation underway to establish the circumstances.
