MORE than 300 pupils enjoyed a successful Santa’s Grotto organised by Friends of Christ Church PTA earlier this week.

The event was sponsored by Padgate Academy who purchased the books that Santa gave out as gifts to help promote reading as children enjoyed visiting an inflatable grotto.

PTA Chairperson Jacquelyn Colquhoun said: “The children had a fabulous time visiting the jolly red man and it was an absolute pleasure to get to bring Christmas to our pupils.”
