Gifts for those less fortunate at Christmas

A TEAM of customer service representatives based at Evri’s depot in Winwick, Warrington, have got together to help provide gifts to those less fortunate by donating to a local retail store’s Christmas campaign for charity.

Team member Susan Brennan Mosey said: “For the last few years they have run this campaign and each year we get together as a team to support. It’s such a great cause, as so many people are facing hardship during the cost-of-living crisis.
“We just want to do our bit to help those who might otherwise go without.
“You select a gift tag from the in-store Christmas tree, and it tells you all about the person to help choose a gift they will love. We took 22 gift tags in total. That’s 22 people now that will get something special at Christmas.
“I hate the thought of anyone going without and always try and organise support for charities or those in need.”

The generosity of Susan and the rest of the team doesn’t stop at supporting people.
She also organises a collection for a local animal welfare charity in Warrington for all the animals living in the shelter. They collect food, toys, and blankets, aiming to make sure even those animals less fortunate have a “pawsome” Christmas
