St Rocco’s Christmas tree collection – good for the community and the planet!

ON Saturday January 13, after your Christmas tree has lit up your home over the festive season, Warrington charity St Rocco’s Hospice will bring you the gift of recycling!

Along with the invaluable support of Warrington businesses, your tree will be collected and recycled in return for a donation towards patient care.  No more pine needles covering the back seat of your car or queueing at the recycling centre – just book your collection and leave your tree in an accessible place, it really is that easy!
Last year, the team of volunteers collected 2,800 trees from across Warrington and raised an incredible £44,000.  This money went straight to St Rocco’s Hospice to care for people with life-limiting and terminal illnesses.  This year they are hoping to smash that record and they need your help.

Can your company spare some time, a vehicle or even a chipper?  If the answer is yes, please contact Charlotte by emailing [email protected] or calling 01925 575780.
A huge thank you to the following companies who have already pledged their support this year: Warrington Borough Council, BT Skips, HMS, Warrington Electrical Supplies, B-Engineering Group, Sandstone Supplies, Beesley & Fildes, Beechwood Industries, SP Energy Networks, S Xpress Transport, Urban Building Projects, Buzz Building Services, Colas, Standard Fuel Oils, Excavation & Contracting Ltd and Designed by Jamie.

The Christmas Tree Collection initiative covers Warrington postcodes (WA1 to WA5 and WA13).  Booking is easy and can be done online at or by calling our Supporter Care team on 01925 579211.
Charlotte, Senior Events Manager, said “St Rocco’s Hospice is a local charity, and they rely on the generosity of the Warrington community for most of their funding.  The rising cost of living is putting further pressure on the hospice meaning your donations and support are more important than ever to help St Rocco’s continue its care.”
