VIDEO: A giant Santa has again lit up a Latchford Street, helping raise funds for a Sled Dogs rescue charity.
The Christmas lights display, featuring a 35ft Santa, has been created by local couple Roxy Eaves and Rob Jones on Broadbent Avenue, Latchford, and opened for the first time, last night, Friday.
While the light display will be on every night the Giant Santa and charity collections will open once a week, on a Thursday at 5:30pm, until the last week before Christmas when it will open in the build-up to the big day.
The couple originally created the display during lockdown to help cheer up their neighbours and decided to keep it going to raise money for the Sled Dog Rescue charity
As well as a collection bucket on their gate donations can be made via Paypal [email protected]
