DESPITE the rain, Elves made a splash for cash supporting two charities with a charity Elf Dash at Gulliver’s World in Warrington.

Runners of all ages and abilities took part in the event yesterday,  Sunday 19 November, completing a one-mile stretch around the popular theme park in elf-themed fancy dress.

Five pounds from every event ticket–including entry to the Old Hall resort – will be donated to Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals Charity and Warrington Youth Zone.

Mayor of Warrington Cllr Steve Wright was on hand to launch proceedings.
