No Neighbourhood Weekender in 2024

THERE will be no Neighbourhood Weekender event in 2024 with organisers of the popular music festival giving no reason for pulling the plug on next year’s popular music festival.

The announcement was made on social media today with a simple message from the organisers stating “Neighbourhood Weekender will be taking a break in 2024 but we’ll be back in 2025. More news on dates and line up next year!”

Attracting thousands of music fans to Warrington’s Victoria Park over the May Bank Holiday Weekend since 2018, apart from during lockdown, the event has proved hugely popular, with Pulp making a triumphant return to the town at this year’s event.

There has been speculation that the organisers were looking to relocate to Manchester and although stating the event will return for 2025, no venue has yet been confirmed.
While hugely popular for many and mainly trouble free, some local residents will not be too disappointed by the news due to the traffic issues and noise.
