Armed police called as two arrested after fleeing scene of car crash on Chester Road

ARMED officers attended as two men were arrested after fleeing the scene of a car crash on Chester Road which police say the occupants were “lucky to have walked away” from.

Officers responded to calls that a car had crashed on Chester Road, Warrington and both occupants had run off.

Officers from B Block response, firearms and beat management attended and were assisted by the drone and dog units.

The firearms car spotted one male leaping from bushes and the dog/drone located the other male still hiding in the bushes. Both have been arrested and are lucky to have walked away at all.
