WARRINGTON-based Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHFT) has been shortlisted as a national finalist at the HSJ Awards.
Following a thorough first round of judging, in which a record breaking 1456 entries were received BCHFT have been shortlisted in the category of Primary and Community Care Provider of the Year.
Now in its 43-year history, the HSJ Awards is the most coveted accolade in UK healthcare and is seen as the largest annual benchmarking and recognition programme for the health sector.
Chief executive of the Trust Colin Scales said: “This is brilliant news for Bridgewater Community Healthcare and the partners we work alongside. The fact we’ve been named a shortlisted finalist in the category of Primary and Community Care Provider of the Year is a great reflection on how far we have come as an organisation since the pandemic.
“NHS community services often go unrecognised, so this is an opportunity for us to feel proud that our joined-up work is being noticed at a national level.”

The selected winners will be announced during a ceremony in London on November.16.
