Police issue warning after youths seen jumping off cliff onto pub roof

POLICE at Lymm have issued a warning after groups of youths were spotted jumping off a cliff onto the roof of a pub in Lymm village on two consecutive days.

Local officers say they have Unfortunately seen a rise with two incidents over two days of groups accessing the wooded areas at the back of Lymm Tennis Club and then climbing over fencing and jumping from the cliff edge on the Spread Eagle pub roof.

Polcie say they will continue to patrol this area and check the grounds especially on evenings.
When they attended recently they witnessed two males climbing back over the fence and luckily for of them onr landed on his stomach “all over his nice white shiny top” before quickly running off.

Meanwhile high visibility patrols have been taking place around Whitbarrow Road and Albany Road after multiple reports of off road bikes around the area.
