RESIDENTS at Keate House Care Home in Lymm have been whistling, stomping their feet and having a good old fashioned sing along at the Keate House Afternoon Proms Celebration.
The residents enjoyed a glass of fizz whilst watching the live music from Sandra Currie singing the classical hits from the proms.
Enjoying music is a universal experience and music can trigger golden memories it is a great benefit to people with dementia. One resident said “how much wonderful is it to hear everyone singing at the top of their voices”.
