RESIDENTS and staff from Cheshire Grange Care Home in Lymm headed out on a day’s adventure to Liverpool’s waterfront, to visit The Museum of Liverpool.

The residents, who all live on The Memory Lane Community had a marvellous day, lunch in the cafe before exploring the museum, recognising many of the exhibits especially the Brookside set, pictures of Cilla Black and Red Rum. Gordon especially liked the interactive exhibits.
The day was finished of with an ice cream overlooking the Mersey and an open air dance in the sunshine as a busker played Beatles tunes.

Activities Coordinator, Jo Eland said: “The residents had a wonderful day, they loved being able to get out and about and enjoyed chatting to other museum visitors, seeing our Memory Lane residents having a day filled with so many smiles doing something that so many of us do without a second thought made all the planning well worth while, we are already planning a return trip.’
