Charity to open new home store on retail park

CARE UK Charity is set to open their new ‘Home Store and More” on Warrington’s Riverside Retail Park tomorrow Saturday (July 22).

The store occupies what was formerly the Laura Ashley unit.

Care UK needed to find a new location for their store, sorting centre, donation station and headquarters because of the refurbishment and partial demolition plans for the Cockhedge Centre, Warrington.
Everything in the new store is pre-loved and ready to be re-loved, as recycling donations to improve the lives of others is the charity’s core mission. The emphasis will be on high quality home items and furniture at affordable prices .
Due to an increase in demand, the new store will additionally be open on a Sunday 10 am – 4 pm, which means an extra day to shop and make donations. Customers will now also benefit from the four hours of free parking at the retail park.
Store manager Louisa Whitehead said: “We are super excited to open our doors on Saturday. Our team of volunteers and staff have worked hard to make this new store a step above our previous one. We can’t wait to welcome our old and new customers this weekend!”
