PLANS have been submitted for a wellbeing centre for staff at Warrington Hospital.
The timber building would be located in Cherry Tree Court, an atrium in the south west corner of the Lovely Lane hospital’s Appleton Wing.
Hospital chiefs have applied for funding from the charity set up by the family of the late Captain Sir Thomas Moore, following his fundraising efforts during the Covid 19 pandemic.

The centre would be used to deliver staff group sessions, such as workshops on sleep motivation, nutrition and physical activity such a yoga, pilates, Zumba, chair exercises, etc.
Healthy eating, keep fit and other similar sessions would also be delivered by hospital staff to colleagues and their families.
Cherry Tree Court is close to the hospital’s main entrance in Lovely Lane
The lightweight timber building would be installed in a corner of the courtyard.
