EXCITEMENT is building at Warrington & Vale Royal College ahead of its upcoming community fun day on Saturday July 8 from 11am – 2pm, a free day of fun for all the family.

Get ready for a magical adventure with ‘Tales on the Truck’ – an enchanting story time experience for younger children set in a captivating environment – a large truck supplied by Kinaxia. After they have listened to their tale, children can head over to a stall run in partnership by Livewire’s library team and the college’s English & maths department, where they can create their own bookmark to take home, along with a free storybook of their choice.
Definitely not to be missed is the highly anticipated live dog show, featuring three exciting rounds: catwalk, agility, and a talent show. Prepare to be wowed as dogs compete for a range of prestigious awards to add to their collars, including waggiest tail, best-kept coat, most agile dog, and many more. It’s not too late to enter your furry friend into the competition! Visit: wvr.ac.uk/fun-day to register today and secure your spot.

The college’s very own restaurant, Buckley’s, will also be open on the day – delighting guests with a delicious afternoon tea. Gather your friends and family and enjoy a sweet feast of cakes, scones and sandwiches, all for just £6 per person. You must book your table ahead of the event, which you can do by completing the form on this webpage: wvr.ac.uk/fun-day
That’s not all! There’s an abundance of family entertainment waiting for you at this exciting event. Local radio station Cheshire Mix56 will be broadcasting live from the campus, there will be a large inflatable and fairground ride, a visit from Princess Elsa, the chance to meet beloved Warrington Wolves mascot Wolfie, live music from a local pianist (who recently appeared on Channel 4’s ‘The Piano’), a range of stalls and activities with plenty of prizes up for grabs, as well as sweet treats and refreshments. There’s also the chance to get your hands on a ginormous teddy bear – all you have to do is guess its name correctly!

This fantastic event is free to enter and promises to be a fun day out for the whole family. Gather your family and friends and head to Warrington & Vale Royal College’s Warrington campus on Saturday July 8, 11am – 2pm, for an occasion that is not to be missed.
