VIDEO: Mayor of Warrington Cllr Jean Flaherty was on hand to perform the official opening of the first Bedspace premises in the town, providing supported living accommodation for vulnerable young people.

Created in former church premises dating back to the 1890s, the former derelict building has been transformed to provide vulnerable young people, including young mums, with supported living accommodation on their first steps towards independent living.

The former church premises, which are fully managed with support workers, were renovated by Warrington based builders, Urban Building Projects, working in partnership with Bedspace, who have been supporting vulnerable people since 1999, on behalf of Casamount Developments.

Warrington Worldwide was given an exclusive tour of the facility by Carl Palmer from Urban Building Projects and Bedspace Director Andrew Brooks, who have been working in partnership on the project, along with Warrington Borough Council.
Plans are already underway for a second Bedspace facility in the town by Casamount Developments, a partnership between Carl Palmer and Darren Noguerol.
