Noah’s Ark is back in Penketh

THE Noah’s Ark Experience will be back in Penketh for the week July 10-15 at St Paul’s Church, where it was a great success in July 2021.

There will be a series of seven interactive displays with words, pictures, videos, objects and activities for adults and children, with opportunities for fun and learning as you go around this free event.
There will be no real animals but last time, many people said the knitted ones of all sizes, which will be on show again, had to be seen to be appreciated.
Joy Holmes, one of the project’s leaders, explained the significance of the rainbow, which will again be part of the experience. “The rainbow is a part of the story in the Bible. Its seven colours speak of the beauty of diversity.”

One change from last time is that everything will be available in Cantonese as well as English, as a result of the involvement of a number of people from Hong Kong now living locally.
It will be open Monday to Friday from 1.30 to 5.30 pm and Saturday 15th from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm at St Paul’s Church, 221 Warrington Road, WA5 2RX.
