Two fire crews tackle caravan fire at Birchwood

TWO fire crews were called out to reports of a caravan on fire at Birchwood, Warrington on Friday evening.

At 18:55 crews from Birchwood and Warrington were called to Hamnett Court, Birchwood, to a fire involving a caravan that damaged the fascia of nearby flats.

The firefighters from Birchwood and Warrington worked together to extinguish it. Two hose reels were used and the crews were there for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.
It is believed the fire may have started accidentally and there were no reports of any injuries.
