ORFORD playgroup, Little Bears, held a family fun day recently to thank families and friends who have supported them over the last six months, during a difficult time due to a damning Ofsted report.
After a recent unannounced inspection in March, the new inspection gave an overall review of the playgroup as being good and funding that had been removed was reinstated.
There were comments and praise from the inspector as to how the playgroup was being run and how the children were being cared for.
Over 150 people attended the event on Saturday May 20, which was not a fundraiser, but a celebration of the good news and to thank people for their support.
Surprise visits from Paw Patrol and Peppa Pig was a lovely treat for the children, as well as a disco, magician and fun and games.
The team at Little Bears said: “We wanted to thank all our parents for trusting and believing in us Big Bears and helping us emotionally and mentally by keeping your children with us. We love all the children like they are our own.”
