Detectives charge man from Scotland with sexual offences against 11-year-old Warrington boy

DETECTIVES have charged a man in-connection with a number of sexual offences, including two counts of rape, against an 11-year-old boy from Warrington.

Daniel Sneddon, 26, of Galston Road, Kilmarnock, has been charged with two counts of rape of a boy under 13-years-old and engaging in sexual communication with a child.

The charges relate to an incident reported to officers on Tuesday 28 February. The victim is an 11-year-old boy from the Warrington area.

Sneddon appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court this morning (Friday 19 May) and has been remanded to appear at Chester Crown on Friday 16 June.
