THE annual Lymm May Queen Festival was blessed with glorious sunshine as local community groups parade through the village, followed by a festival on the May Queen field.

Lymm May Queen 2023 was Evie Dex and her Lady in Waiting was Ellie Wolstenholme, who are both pupils at Ravenbank Primary School.

Rose Queen 2023 was Iseabal Morrison from Cherry Tree Primary School and her Lady in Waiting was Harmony Seymor, a pupil at Oughtrington Primary School.

Town Crier AJ Powell started proceedings and led the parade through the village which was lined with local residents cheering on proceedings.

The Lymm Jubilee WI won the Best Adult Float this year. The judges had a good chuckle with their antics and the crowd loved it!
