THE number of reported COVID-19 infection rates have continued to fall for a sixth consecutive week in Warrington , while two further deaths have been reported at Warrington Hospital.
A total of 27 (31) COVID-19 cases were reported in the past week with all areas in single figures.
The 27 cases week ending May 6 compared to 31 cases in the week ending April 29 While there have been two more COVID-19-related hospital deaths reported in the past week, inpatient numbers have fallen from 37-34. A total of 28 patients were discharged.

There have been 27 (31) COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington over the past seven days taking the total to 86,177 (86,158) – 79,001 (78,997) 1st infections, 7,176 (7,161) reinfections and an infection rate of 12.9 (14.8) per 100,000 which has fallen again, compared to a rate of 17.1 (18.1) for England which has also fallen.
