Ten-year-old child taken to hospital following collision involving motorcycle

A 10-year-old child was taken to hospital following a collision involving a motorcycle on Lovely Lane, Warrington on Sunday afternoon.

The child’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and the ride of the motorcycle was uninjured and no arrests were made at the scene.

Diversions were put in place on Lovely Lane while emergency services attended at the scene.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At 3.30 pm on Sunday 7 April police were called to reports of a collision on Lovely Lane, near to the Mad Hatter Pub.
“Officers attended the scene and found that a 10-year-old child had been involved in a collision with a motorcycle.
“The child was taken to Warrington District General Hospital, their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening,
“The rider of the bike was uninjured and no arrests were made.”
