LOCAL police are investigating reports of teenagers abusing park users and causing damage at Burtonwood Nature Park.
Following a visit to the park on Thursday evening local PCSO Tony Spruce said: I have been out and about in the Nature park this evening after more reports of a group of teenagers causing damage and abusing users of the park.
“I do have names for some who may be involved so expect a visit soon.
“This nature park is maintained and cleaned by volunteers please speak to your kids and make sure they are not responsible for the fires and the damage and let’s help keep this beautiful place tidy!”
Anyone with information can contact the police on 101 or leave a message via the local facebook page although this is not monitored 24 hours.
