Road set to close for up to five days for urgent repairs

A road at Lymm is set to close for up to five days from May 1 for urgent highway repairs.

Brookfield Road, Lymm will be closed from its junction with Eagle Brow to the entrance with Lymm Tennis Club.

Warrington Borough Council has made an order from Monday 1st May 2023, for a period not exceeding 5 days, Brookfield Road, from its junction with Eagle Brow to a point approximately 55 metres south (at the access to Lymm Tennis Club), will be closed to vehicular traffic and pedestrians.

The closure will be in place for 5 days between the hours of 9:30 am and 3:30 pm as and when the signs are in place on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.

The alternative route will be via Brookfield Road, A56 Church Road, Eagle Brow and vice versa.
The reason for the closure is to allow for urgent highway works.
