Woman charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving at Latchford

A 26-year-old woman has been charged in relation to a collision at Latchford which left an 81-year-old pedestrian seriously injured.

Deborah Cubas De Souza was arrested Wednesday 5 April after officers on patrol in Warrington came across a collision involving an 81-year-old pedestrian on Knutsford Road in Latchford.

The 26-year-old of Platt Bridge, Wigan, was arrested and subsequently charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

She has been committed to appear at Liverpool Crown Court for sentencing on Friday 5 May.
