WARRINGTON Charities Trust has announced that the next grant deadline is at the end of May. Applicants have until then to submit their proposals for consideration.
The Trust is looking for proposals that will have a positive impact on the Warrington community, with a focus on supporting the young, elderly, disabled, or other people in need. Bids tend to be in the £250-£1000 range depending on the purpose.
Warrington Charities Trust was founded in 1989. It has given well over £300,000 to local charitable organisations and community groups in that time. The Trust provides financial support to charities and for those carrying out projects with a charitable purpose, who are working to improve the quality of life in the community.
Paul Taylor, Chair of the Trust, said, “For almost 35 years we have been helping to reach the charities that other grants cannot reach by making sure that they get every single penny that we receive in donations. Warrington Charities Trust is a charity that is happy to provide small grants to some of the smaller organisations here in Warrington that have big ideas about helping the local community.”
