Three more COVID-19 related deaths as infection rates rise again

THREE more COVID-19-related deaths have sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital in the past week, while infection rates have risen again.

A total of 131 (117) cases were reported in the past week with the largest number of cases (17) being reported in the Winwick & Burtonwood area, down from 22 the previous week.

The 131 cases week ending March 18 compared to 117 cases in the week ending March 11 While there have been three more COVID-19-related hospital deaths in the past week, inpatient numbers have reduced from 33-32 with 21 (25) patients discharged in the past week.

There have been 131 (117) COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington over the past seven days taking the total to 85,782 (85,624) – 78,773 (78,697) 1st infections, 7009 (6,945) reinfections and an infection rate of 62.6 (55.9) per 100,000 which have risen again, compared to a rate of 46.3 (46.3) for England which have also risen.

  1. Can someone explain to me how a friend of mine went into hospice to die of lung cancer and death was put down on death certificate as covid
