Former parish councillor and election candidate arrested and in custody accused of breaching restraining order

FORMER election candidate and Westbrook Parish councillor Marta Paszkowska has been arrested and remanded in custody to appear at crown court accused of breaching a restraining order for harassing Warrington Borough Cllr. Wendy Maisey.

Cheshire Police have confirmed Marta Paszkowska, 45, of Chicago Place, Great Sankey, was arrested and subsequently charged with breach of a restraining order. She was remanded into custody where she appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on 8 March. She was then further remanded to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on 5 April.
The charge follows an arrest made on 6 March following a social media post.
Paszkowska, a former election candidate and parish Cllr at Westbrook, had been placed under a restraining order for harassing Wendy Maisey – a Warrington Borough councillor for Culcheth, Glazebury and Croft.
