VIDEO: LOCAL hairdresser Joanne Wharton, who works at Michele & Co in Warrington town centre, is celebrating after qualifying as Wella Master Color Expert.
She has been studying for the award for a year and is now celebrating her success with salon owner Michele Butterworth, where she has been working for nearly 30 years.#
With Michele cutting hair in the town for half a century they have 80 years of experience between them.
Warrington Worldwide visited to mark the occasion and bumped into loyal customer Dave Warwick, a familiar face in the town, as a former manager of various music artists and TV celebrities including Rick Astley.
Dave, who has been visiting the salon for many years for a regular hair cut joked he would now be considering a “blue rinse.”
