EMPLOYEES from the Amazon fulfilment centre in Warrington have been celebrating the festive season with a month-long series of fun activities, games and giveaways in the lead up to Christmas.
Christmas jumper days, festive food giveaways and Christmas competitions are just some of the highlights at the fulfilment centre throughout December as the team delivers for customers this Christmas.
The team from Amazon in Warrington also enjoyed Christmas Markets at the fulfilment centre, which involved market stalls with Christmas treats and games for associates and their families to enjoy. The Amazon team also invited Barrow Hall Lane Primary School choir to perform a few carols.
Speaking on the festivities, Amazon’s Warrington Site Leader, James Pitt said: “It’s always a joy to celebrate the run up to Christmas with the great team here at Amazon in Warrington. It was great to have the children from Barrow Hall Lane Primary School visit the site to sing carols for the team. It really added to the great festive feeling we have here at the fulfilment centre, and the pupils had wonderful voices. We’re all enjoying getting into the festive spirit as we deliver smiles to Amazon customers all over the UK this festive season.”
Ashleigh Green, an employee from Amazon in Warrington who has been taking part in the fun and games on site, added:
“I look forward to getting into the festive spirit with my colleagues and friends at Amazon in Warrington every year. There’s no better way to celebrate the season than by coming together to spread some festive cheer.”
