NOW part of the award-winning Craft Union Pub Company, current title holder of the Best Community Pub Operator and famous for establishing pubs in the heart of their communities, the Rose Inn at Great Sankey, Warrington has reopened following a £188,000 investment.
Being transformed with a new look and feel inside and out, the Rose Inn is a true home away from home. With a modern, warm and welcoming feel inside and upgrades to the bar area and seating, the pub is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy a drink or two.
With the latest in audio-visual technology, this community pub is the place to catch all the sporting action on BT Sport and Sky across several TV screens around the pub. The exterior has also been revamped with a new entrance lined with seasonal flowers and shrubs.
A familiar face remains at the helm of the pub, with Shirley Fox staying as Operator. Shirley has worked at The Rose Inn for over 11 years. Shirley said: “I am so excited about this new chapter at the Rose Inn. Our new warm and friendly look has given the pub a new lease of life. We have a fantastic drinks range and I am delighted to be reopen in time for Christmas so our guests can enjoy a festive drink with us.”
There is a jam-packed entertainment schedule at the pub. With something planned every night of the week, there is something for everyone, including quiz nights, poker nights and live music. Friday nights kick off the weekend with karaoke and Saturdays have DJs playing the best tunes. For those looking to take part in some sporting action themselves, a new pool table and illuminated dartboard have also been added alongside new gaming machines to enable guests to take on their friends.
Shirley added: “We’ve got a fantastic offering of entertainment on offer here. Between our events throughout the week to our weekend music and live sport there really is something for everyone. I also cannot wait to work with the community in supporting local events and causes in the coming weeks and months.”
