UPDATED: WARRINGTON’S town centre Primark Store in Golden Square has re-opened today, Sunday, after being forced to close yesterday, “due to unforeseen circumstances.”

A notice announcing the unexpected closure greeted Christmas shoppers as they found the shutters down yesterday morning.

An internal burst water pipe had resulted in the closure, as staff were sent home for the day.
Work went on throughout the day to clean up and fix the issue and the store re-opened as normal today.
