EMPLOYEES of Miller Homes’ North West region, based at Birchwood Park, participated in this years ‘Movember’ raising a whopping £2,155 for men’s mental health.

Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and male suicide.

The Miller Homes team started fresh faced, pledging to grow a moustache throughout November to raise £500 for charity. Support came flooding in, seeing the homebuilder’s team smash their target by 400% by the end of the month!
David Brackley, Operations Director of Miller Homes in the North West said: “Men’s mental health is very important and getting involved in Movember was an easy decision! The whole team have smashed their goal, and I couldn’t be prouder. Well done!”

The Miller Homes North West team is made up of over 100 people, looking after a number of current active developments in the region, from Burnley in Lancashire through to Congleton in Cheshire and Northenden in Greater Manchester.
Updates on further fundraising efforts by the Miller Homes team, as well as all other community and charity initiatives undertaken within the region, can be followed on Twitter.
