Panto time in Culcheth as curtain goes up on “Cinderella”

CULCHETH Players are already working hard rehearsing for their annual pantomime, to be staged over two weekends in January at Newchurch Parish Hall.

The curtain will go up on “Cinderella” on Saturday, January 14 at 1 pm and 6.30 pm and Sunday, January 15 at 1pm.
Then, for those who miss out, the show will be staged again on Saturday, January 21 at 1.30 pm and 6.30 pm and on Sunday, January 22 at 1pm.
Tickets are priced at £7.50 although children under two go free when not occupying a seat.

After the success of last year’s show, Culcheth Players are again hoping for sell-out audiences.
They will again be joined in the chorus by local girls from Rosemary Powell’s School of Dance who are already giving up free time on Saturday mornings to perfect their routines.
The famous Culcheth Fairy will be putting in an appearance too! He was the surprise guest last year and got a huge cheer from the audience when he came on stage.
In addition, four very talented young people from local group ABC Autism Rocks. They will be performing a number on stage which is guaranteed to get the audience clapping along and joining in.

Tickets can be bought in advance at www.ticketsource.co.uk (booking fees apply) and a limited number of tickets at £8,cash only, will be available on the door on the day of a performance,depending on availability.
Tickets are on sale now and the advice is to get them soon.
Culcheth Players would also like to remind people that free parking is available nearby at Jackson Avenue and there is also a large free car park at Shaw Street – a 7-10 minute walk away.
