VIDEO: The birds around Primrose Hill Nursery were in for a shock as garden centre MD Adam Halford tried out his Scarecrow costume for Lymm Rugby Club’s adult panto production of ‘Wizard of Oz!’

Lymm Panto impresario and producer Simon Plumb was enthusiastic about the forthcoming production. “Rehearsals are going really well and Adam is working very hard learning his lines, although the Scarecrow doesn’t have a brain so it is proving tricky at times.
“I hope this isn’t typecasting, but I do like the hat”, added Adam, who is a tall man and his costume was created by his Mum and panto Wizard of Oz wardrobe mistress Yvonne Challinor-Halford.

Lymm Rugby Club still has tickets available for the legendary and world-famous show, now in its 35th year, which is to run for 8 shows from 1st to 4th December and 8th to 11th December, with matinees on the two Sundays. All funds raised go to the Lymm Grass Roots Clubhouse Appeal
Tickets, at £25 each, are available via this link: www.ticket.tygit.com/u/r/l/Lymm-RFC-Events
